  • The time unit (minutes, hours, days, weeks, etc.)
  • The amount (e.g., 2 days before, 1 hour after)
  • The notification method:
    • Origami alert (pop-up in the web app)
    • Push notification (for mobile users)
    • Email notification

When a reminder is triggered, the user receives a notification with a direct link to the relevant record, enabling immediate active.

Who Can Set Reminders?

Currently, only system administrators have the ability to configure reminders. This ensures consistency and prevents notification overload. Administrators can:

  • Set reminders for any entity with a date field.
  • Define who receives the reminder, including:
    • A specific user (based on a dynamic email field in the record)
    • A group of users (such as managers or entire teams)
    • Predefined email addresses

Where Do Reminders Appear?

When a reminder is triggered, users will see it in the notifications panel within Origami. If email or mobile notifications are enabled, users will also receive an alert in their inbox or as a push notification on their mobile device.
